"I
am writing to you to express my sincere admiration and recommendation for
the Insights program and training that our staff is currently undertaking.
What a blessing it has been! I
would like to share with you some of the most positive and encouraging
developments that the Insights program, under the direction of Jane
Schuette, has provided the faculty and staff of Mayer Lutheran High
School.
First of all, allow me to say that we as a staff have grown
considerable “closer” as a unit in exploring and discovering what kind
of personalities each of us possess.
In fact, our faculty has cherished the blue/yellow/red/green
discussions so much, we occasionally have “color” Fridays where we all
wear the color of our dominant personality trait.
In short, Jane’s workshops have helped us to recognize not just
who we are or how we see ourselves, but who are colleagues or co-workers
are. The Insights program is
an invaluable tool to help focus on team-building, collegiality,
communication, and people skills. The
program has done great things in helping us to improve staff morale so
that we might function better as a cohesive team and be able to reach out
to better serve our constituents, parents, and students in a more
nurturing, positive, and effective manner.
The second thing that
really stands out for me and the Insights program is Jane’s expertise
and enthusiasm for her own product. She
truly believes in the value of making personality testing applicable to
our daily endeavors and “jobs.” She
leads by inclusion, encourages critical thinking, and demands that we all
think beyond our own little ordered worlds to see the bigger picture of
what personality testing can do for team-building and team ministry.
I admire and appreciate the way she can share her personal faith in
Jesus Christ throughout her presentation. Finally, the Insights program has truly enriched our faculty and staff by helping us to focus on personal and professional growth as a life-long learning habit. As individuals who are in the people business, we can never learn enough about ourselves, how to interact with others, and how to grow and use the gifts and talents that God has given each of us to the fullest.
In summary, I highly recommend Jane and her program.
We at Mayer Lutheran High School are already reaping the short-term
benefits of the program and look forward to the fruition of many of the
long-term benefits that are sure to come from this experience.
